72nd Vienna Medical Doctors' Ball on January 27, 2024

We are sold out. For all those who we will be welcoming to the Hofburg on 27 January 2024, here is an overview of the ball evening: Our ball visitors can expect an exciting program with many innovations, all details can be found HERE.
This year's Doctors' Ball is dedicated to an important Austrian pioneer of medicine: Karl Landsteiner. The Nobel Prize winner is considered the "father of immunohaematology" thanks to his groundbreaking discoveries in the field of blood group serology, which laid the foundation for modern transfusion medicine and thus saved millions of lives.

The ball will also open with pieces from the Strauss operetta "Wiener Blut", danced by the Europaballett.
The ball donation, a hand art print in an edition of 3,500, was created this time by students of the University of Applied Arts and was also inspired by the work of Karl Landsteiner. It takes up the tradition of artistically designed ball donations in a new form. Visitors to the ball will take home a unique and collector's item as a souvenir from the ball
 
Dress code: Festive!
The dress code is also subject to dress regulations, but these leave enough leeway for a successful ball outfit.
Dress code: Floor-length evening dress, black tailcoat with decoration, black tux or gala uniform.
Ball ticket: Mobile or printed!
For reasons of sustainability, only print@home and mobile tickets will be available for the ball tickets. There will be no box office at the Hofburg on the day of the ball. At the entrance, ball tickets will either be printed out or shown on a cell phone. 
In addition to their ticket, students and pupils should also have their valid student ID ready.
Please note that there is no box office on the evening of the ball and the 72nd Vienna Medical Doctors' Ball is completely sold out.
